Traditional...

| Quote: | The 2nd reception of Edy & Maria in Cititel, Penang. It was held the day after Maria's reception in Butterworth, so it was quite a tight schedule to be honest. Fortunately, this event was held at night, so it gives me ample time to have some rest the whole day, including breakfast at the one and only roti canai Transfer Road and lunch at another one and only Hameediah Nasi Briyani (note the double 'E'). It's a sin if you come to Penang and not try their authentic food.
So, the event were held between 6pm for make up until 11pm+ for group photos and some creative shots. It was an eventful night for both the 'king & queen' of the day, as well as for the guest'.

Action packed!!
| Quote: | | The Shot of the Day |
| Quote: | MotoGP race day on Sunday. Me and Nizar arrived there a few minutes past 12, and the action has already started. The weather was hot and sunny, perfect for racing. Before we go straight to the stands, we took some time to wander around the promotion booth, looking for some merchandise and hot chicks. After finished shooting some 'birds', me and Nizar head to the grandstand, hoping to get the best view for the start of the main event, which was the MotoGP premier class category. We found a spot, then throughout the race, we keep switching places back and forth just to make sure we covered possibly all the angles available.
It was a perfect weekend for me and for friends as this was my first experience watching MotoGP live in Sepang! |
notice the rear tyre went off the ground while braking hard at turn 15.
The reigning world champion were outclassed by the seasoned campaigner..
The marshals finally have something to cheer about as their (and our) hero come good..
Rossi appreciates the crowd below him..

Why it's Worth All The Money
| Quote: | Last Saturday was a hot day, no doubt about it. It was also the weekend of the MotoGP event in Sepang. I've been attending several F1 races, Japan GT, Merdeka Millennium Endurance and AFOS, but this is the first time watching 2-wheels machine live in action. A lot of people say at RM80, it's a bit too expensive to say the least, but it actually depends on how you value THAT money. If you just going to spend an hour or two just watching Valentino Rossi riding around the track, you may very well just stay at home and watch it in front of the 'idiot box'.
But, if you do a little bit more of thinking, at RM80, you'll get to see 2 days of the event (qualifying and race day), not to mention FREE entry on Friday practice, a lot of merchandise booth at discounted rate, endless photographic opportunity, and above all, the ATMOSPHERE of being in a racing environment, the feel of speed, the sound of the machine and a sense of tense surrounding the area. For a true motorsport fan, this IS why you pay RM80 for, but who doesn't, I'm sure tomorrow morning you'll be happy to wear some racing shirt to office. |

happiness by the beach...
| Quote: | This was the first day of two events I had to cover over the weekend in Penang. This also was the first time I shot a wedding that's being held by the beach, although not exactly on the beach sand, but nonetheless you can feel the sea wind under the nose.

As natural as it can be...
| Quote: | It's been a busy weekend for me, covering 2 event on Saturday and Sunday in Penang. Today, along my journey home, just got enough time to pay a visit to Tmn tasik Taiping, Perak for an hour two. My first impression was totally unexpected. It was truly a magnificent & beautiful lake compared to others I'd visited before.
Luckily for me at THAT time, the weather was perfect, allowing me to capture the beauty of this place with bright blue sky. As you know, when you mention Taiping, you think 'rain', but not this time though. Actually there are a lot of sections that forms the lake, but I only managed to cover 2 sections of it, that is near the MPI tower and near the zoo entrance if you know what I'm talking about.
Definitely I'll come again to this place when I got the chance... |

Zatun adalah customer saya jugak yang mana saya telah membuat album pertunangan beliau pada bulan Mac lalu, yang juga merangkap kakak kepada kawan asrama saya di Penang Free School dulu.

The one that makes you smile all the way...
| Quote: | This place is rather a unique place to hold a wedding ceremony, but somehow it does makes sense after a while. Galeri Shah Alam, situated just by a lake opposite the Wet World, is a nice setting to hold a wedding ceremony. Unique I should describe it. Same goes to our 'King & Queen' of the day, Mr. Shadiq & Ms. Shauna. Why unique? Enjoy my experience through the photos below to see why
To them, selamat pengantin baru diucapkan, appreciate your trust in our works at www.pixelworks.com.my, and thanks for the hospitality from both of you guys and your respective family members.. |

a worthwhile wait (or issit?)
| Quote: | | my best friend's engagement last week in USJ. There is a little bit of a twist, but in the end, with all the friends coming over and the quality food being served, plus the hospitality of the 'tuan rumah' that day makes all the effort worthwhile. Thanks to everyone for the support and to the person herself, ms Nazila Nor Said and her partner Mohd Zaidi Omar. One thing for sure, JANGAN TUNGGU LAMA- LAMA |
